Hi Folks:
I have fond memories of La Casita. I finished the 2nd grade in the spring of 1947 and was in the first group of students at JAMES BICKLEY in the fall. After two weeks at Bickley I was pulled out and sent back to La Casita where I finished the 3rd and 4th grades before we moved to Roswell. I liked Bickley but have since been glad to have spent my time at La Casita. Of course this was at the old location. My question is when did the old school close. And when did Eugene Field close. These were the only elementary schools in town when we arrived and were know as east side and west side. Looking forward to hearing
