Shirley intermediate school is THE BEST school in this world ever since leaving for high school i have been begging to return. I have many mental and some physical issues and sis has been able to work with all of them. In year 7 i had a frend whi couldn’t see well so they put yellow everywhere to accommodate for him.
My brother has hafe a heart and they were able to work with him.
I have loved the teachers and staff there with my favorites because mis reves mr duff and mr hemingsons (i probably miss spellt there names) with all of them being great.
With fire rebeca teaching cooking mr hemingsons teaching coding and technology. Miss reves teaching music and drama and love tanks and ww1-2 history
Mr flngagen and mr charick (nick name mr carrot) doing most of the p.e.
Mator tomes teaching maori and being great “normal” teacher.
Mr duff (my nick name for him the coffee god) being a great teacher very funny (for me at least) give his students way too much fun wich motivats us but is not the guy to push your luck with too far.
Mr seave is a great principal and will help students and staff when they need it. Mr copper is the same but like most other staff from this great school is a great guy to talk to about problems. Last year we also had miss holden a pretty good teacher but ive been told she has saidly left. Our amazing office staff with main people i saw and can remember being miss t and carrol who is also a suport teacher aid or at least she was in my year or year 7.
With there being some other staff i unfortunately can’t remember who also were amazing.
The school is very supportive to all students and is open to ideas on how to make the school better ( as an example of something still in progress from when i was there a 1to 1 scale repleca of the school in minecraft.)
I believe this was THE BEST SCHOOL EVER with every morning i woud try to leave early so i coud get to school and help to the best of my ability.
I highly recommend going there best 2 years of my life to this day.
