I was also in the school Orchestra led by Mr, Pickering. We all felt very proud of that school sorry I only just found out it has been demolished. Also, Mr. Broom might have an e on the end, joined the school and introduced Rugby to the school and I was selected to play in that team.

I felt even more proud when the local school where my children went introduced the Fletcher Maths system. He chose me with about 30 other kids to be in his special maths group, the other teachers were not so sure, This meant we were giving special demonstrations to overseas students including a demonstration one Saturday morning at Attingham Park. I was also a school reporter for the newspaper we started up.
